“I began the year believing the lies I’d spoken over myself for years…that I was broken beyond repair and nothing I did would get me out of the feeling of being stuck in a body that didn’t feel like a home I was proud to live in. A story that I’m sure is common amongst many women (thanks diet culture).
Something came over me this last winter and I decided to *finally* call on a support system to help me get unstuck. My hope from the beginning was to create safety & peace within (a foreign concept to me at the time) and create a more loving relationship with my body. @jessbrown.wellness has been a safe haven for me these last 6 months and have supported me in cultivating an incredibly deep and loving relationship within.
I’m proud of the physical progress shown in these photos but what I’m even more proud of and thankful for is that I now understand what it means to pour from an overflowing cup rather than giving the few drops that I had.

“I would say the biggest win I had working with Jess was staying consistent and putting my all into the program! She used the phrase ‘Slow is fast’ and that stuck with me to stay consistent. When starting new programs or strategies in the past it was easy to get overwhelmed - it was the first time I really felt consistent in an approach and it was a game changer! When I first started the process I was very nervous. I had never done a coaching program before and I was afraid I would feel shame or self-conscious and not open up fully. From the first conversation I had with Jess I felt comfortable and was able to open up fully about my goals and roadblocks. Jess always came from a place of mindfulness - I loved that.
